Generate Revenue Without Expenditures
Money is tight today. The problem is increasing revenue without first increasing expenses. There is a growing and underserved tech-savvy segment of the market that can be reached through Web and mobile applications. But, in the digital realm security is an issue because you don’t want your content distributed freely. Developing and maintaining applications to reach your target audience while also protecting content from digital theft is expensive. Using Avery Educate’s platform, you can securely expand your reach to Web and mobile consumers and increase revenue without increasing expenses.
Protect Content From Digital Exploitation
The challenge online is to sell more than one copy of a digital work. Avery Educate meets this challenge by providing proprietary security measures to protect your digital content. Avery Educate’s founder spent nearly 4 years consulting the Department of Defense on security solutions and has expertise with bots and spiders. As a result, Avery Educate’s products are carefully designed to thwart theft and unauthorized distribution.
Web-based content is delivered via a Flash application. Flash is a lightweight browser plugin available for all modern browsers and is in use by 99% of Internet users. To prevent reverse engineering attacks, your content will not be delivered as part of or stored in the Flash application. Content is seamlessly delivered as needed over an encrypted stream. Bots and spiders are unable to see the content. You can try for yourself. View the HTML source when you are viewing the Flash application. You will not see any content in the source. Also, you will not be able to use your mouse to select or copy the on-screen content from the browser window.
Content is delivered to mobile devices through similar encrypted channels. A proprietary Java ME application is required to view the content. Java ME is "the most ubiquitous application platform for mobile devices," and is supported on approximately 6,000 mobile devices, including cell phones and smartphones, from all major manufacturers including Research in Motion (BlackBerry), Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson.
Content is also protected through passwords, login restrictions, and session timeouts. Whether Web-based or mobile, accessing your content requires consumers to enter a username and password. Password-sharing is minimized by allowing only one login per user at any given time. A subsequent login invalidates previous logins.
You can also opt to have your content protected by limiting the period of time in which consumers have access. For example, products aimed at graduate students having 4-5 month semesters, can be given 6-month subscriptions. The choice is yours.
Not Reaching Web and Mobile Consumers Is Costing You
Today’s tech-savvy target consumer loves the freedom that the Web and mobile devices provide. Extending that freedom to educational pursuits will be the tipping point in purchase decisions. Whether by laptop or mobile device, Avery Educate’s solutions allow consumers to do more and carry less.
In addition, mobile technology is everywhere. The only thing today’s student is more likely to be carrying than a backpack is a mobile device. And, laptops are quickly becoming standard and often required equipment for college students, graduate students and even junior high and high school students.
Get Noticed By Increasing Revenue
In the current economic environment, nothing is more likely to get you noticed in your organization than increasing revenue without also increasing expenses. You can leverage Avery Educate’s platform to increase the revenue generated by the content you already own without having to spend money on developing your own platform.
